We noticed a need for studio space for ceramic artists in the San Juan area and responded by creating this membership program. House of Dirt strives to be a space where everyone feels welcome and community is built through clay.
BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
Unlimited studio access from 6 am-9 pm, 7 days per week

A studio community of clay enthusiasts
House of Dirt is open to members 7 days a week, 6 am-9 pm. Members must sign in and out on the clipboard hanging on the wall near the studio entrance.
Members get full access to the large work area, outdoor patio, and bathroom.
Members have access to the slab roller, wheels, sink, work tables, wedging table, buckets, sponges, ware boards, plastic, bats, and studio tools.
House of Dirt hosts classes, workshops, and other events that members may need to schedule their studio time around. We will inform members of any upcoming studio events with at least 1-week notice whenever possible.
PRICING
1 Shelf (47.5” L x 18” D x 15” H) - $120 (including IVU) per month
Members must provide their own clay. Clay can be purchased through House of Dirt here, or members may bring their own. We will need the clay info before firing anything. Firings are not included in the monthly membership fee. Use of our five cone 5-6 studio glazes (clear, matte white, glossy white, matte black, glossy black) is included in the membership fee. We have a selection of tools members are welcome to borrow, but we encourage members to bring their own tools and store them on their shelves.

The process to become a member at House of Dirt is as follows:
1- Fill out the application below.
2- Once we receive your application, we will review it and decide if you are a good fit for membership at HOD. We will reach out to you via email with the decision. We may ask to plan a video meeting before making a final decision.
3- If you are accepted, we will schedule an orientation. After we receive your security deposit, first month payment, and you’ve completed the orientation, as well as signed the membership agreement, your membership can begin.
