REGISTRATION POLICIES

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to be accommodating while maintaining the integrity of our studio schedule. To ensure a smooth process, kindly take note of our cancellation policies below.

Cancellation requests must be made via email to houseofdirtstudio@gmail.com. Please remember we are a very small business and cannot make exceptions to these policies. Last-minute cancellations in classes and workshops are difficult to fill, so please make sure to check your calendar before committing to an event. Unless otherwise noted, fees for all programming include relevant materials, firings, IVU, and instruction. Please refer to individual programming descriptions for full details of what is included in the price.

We reserve the right to cancel any group programming up to 3 days in advance due to insufficient enrollment. If a class or workshop is canceled, you will be offered the option of a credit, or a full refund.

8-WEEK CLASS REFUND POLICY

Cancellations made up to 7 days before the first class will receive a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice before the first class will not receive a refund. If you need to cancel your registration for a class with less than 7 days notice before the first class meeting, you may transfer your spot up to 48 hours before the first class meeting to someone else by providing us with the new student’s name, phone number, and email.

Missed Classes: No refunds will be given for missed classes. If you are unable to attend a scheduled class, we encourage you to inform us in advance, and we will do our best to explore alternative arrangements or make-up opportunities.

1-DAY WORKSHOP REFUND POLICY

Cancellations made up to 5 days before the workshop will receive a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 5 days notice before the workshop will not receive a refund. If you need to cancel your registration for a workshop with less than 5 days notice, you may transfer your spot up to 48 hours before the workshop to someone else by providing us with the new participant’s name, phone number, and email.

Missed Workshops: No refunds will be given for missed workshops. 

SUMMER CAMP REFUND POLICY

Cancellations made up to 10 business days before the first day of the session will receive a full refund, less a 10% processing fee.

Missed Days: No refunds will be given for missed camp days. We will do our best to help the camper catch up on what they missed during the next camp day they are able to attend.

PRIVATE LESSONS REFUND POLICY

Lessons must be paid for at least 2 days in advance. Cancellations made up to 2 days before the lesson will receive a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. Changes or cancellations made with less than 2 days notice will result in a $50 fee.

Missed Private Lessons: No refunds will be given for missed private lessons.

PRIVATE WORKSHOPS REFUND POLICY

In order to confirm the reservation, a 50% deposit must be paid and the remaining 50% will be due 3 days before the workshop. Cancellations made up to 3 days before the workshop will receive a full refund, less a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made with less than 3 days notice will not receive a refund.

Missed Private Workshops: No refunds will be given for missed private workshops.
